v-day re-do

so i posted yesterday about our not-so-hot valentine's day. i also mentioned that we'd probably do something else this week to make up for it. well, tonight's the night!

matt wants to take me out to a relaxed dinner {applebee's!} so planning accordingly, i snagged a friend from work yesterday and together we ventured out to my favorite little stationary shop, Blu Canary, in search of something a) valentine's-ey and b) suitable for a man. didn't have to be anything terribly exciting, just "something to open" because i like gifts.

i ended up with a little box of whiskey-filled chocolates. yummy huh? i'm not so sure myself, but he'll like them. also found the prettiest v-day card {well, prettiest storebought card, that is} and a cute little gift bag. i'm happy with it.

so, tonight it is, our big v-day re-do. this sounds like a layout waiting to happen, huh? i guess i'll have to drag out my camera. :)
