moon photos...

matt & i went to visit my dad this weekend. my dad is a photography enthusiast himself, and loves the gadgets. a few months ago, he bought a converter that hooks up his camera to his telescope, allowing him to photograph what you can see through the scope. as we have the same camera, (it's like sharing clothes with your sister, but better!!) i got to play a little myself. thursday night was the full moon, so by friday it was beginning to wane. finding a few fabulous shots between bouts of cloud cover was definitely challenging (as was properly exposing the image to capture the surface details!) but i'm really happy with the handful i got before the clouds took over.

our weekend was fabulous - wish it could've lasted a little longer. the farm sale on saturday was a great outing, but the driving made for an exhausting afternoon. i'll post some photos later - i got quite a few that i really love...
