Self Portrait - Ali's Challenge
Ali Edwards, whom you've probably heard me mention that I admire greatly, posted a challenge to her readers on her blog last week to take self portraits, to "celebrate yourself. A toast to you and all that is good and wonderful."
I did this last night, and am not quite sure how I feel about the results.
I chose black & white, instead of color, because I find it soulful, and I'm a soulful person... And go figure, for some reason, I like the ones that came out with my face only half in the picture... Oooh, what Freud would have to say about that.
I have an appointment for a long-awaited haircut Monday night, which is my solace for the fact that my parents are in Hawaii and I'm not. Maybe I'll try again then, when my hair makes me look like less of a muppet.

They turned out great! My favorite is actually the close-up in the top center, and your avatar photo is lovely as well!
